There are also about 20 km of cross-country skiing trails and many possibilities for a ski tour and the snow hiking. In summer, the area is ideal for hiking, cycling and climbing, but the alpine streams and lakes also invite for rafting or canyoning. Mallnitz is a lively village with a swimming pool, shops, restaurants, hotels and a convenient railway station. The house is located on the edge of the village and cross-country and hiking trails start just behind the property. The ski lifts are easily reachable with a c. 5min drive.
