LOCATION: Little known Viehhofen is a small town conveniently located between two vast ski resorts, the Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Leogang-Fieberbrunn SkiCircus and Zell am See-Kaprun ski area. Recently this town has become one of the hottest places in the Alps to purchase a ski property thanks to the newly built zellamzeeeXpress, a cable car which in minutes transports you to the top of the Schmittenhöhe mountain within the Zell am See ski area. From the SkiCircus, you can ski all the way down to Viehhofen on Piste 68 and a ski bus takes you back to the SkiCircus. From 2019, there is a single skipass covering the SkiCircus, Zell am See as well as the Kitzsteinhorn glacier - the ultimate winter fun ticket covering over 400km of slopes and 121 cable cars. In summer, there is also plenty to do with the Zell lake minutes away and hundreds of kilometres of hiking and cycling trails. Zell am See also has excellent golf courses.
