Among the nearest smaller resorts are, for example, Gaaler Lifte or Rieseralm (approx. 20–30 minutes by car); larger and better-known resorts such as Kreischberg, Lachtal, or Turracher Höhe are accessible within approximately 45–60 minutes by car. In summer, the surrounding area is ideal for hiking, cycling, and relaxing in nature. A popular bike path along the Mur River (Mur Radweg) runs through the village, and there are numerous marked hiking trails in the area leading to peaks such as Habring, Schafkogel, and Weißeck. There are also easy walks, Nordic walking, running, and swimming in natural locations
