LOCATION: Niederöblarn is a small village in the Enns River valley in Styria, Austria, now part of the larger municipality of Öblarn. It is located in a beautiful Alpine landscape below the Grimming massif in the Schladming-Dachstein region, which is known for its rich natural surroundings and outdoor activities in both summer and winter. The Tauplitz resort with 42 km of slopes is also easily accessible. For lovers of classic skiing, there are several kilometers of well-groomed cross-country trails. In the summer season, the entire area below the Grimming massif offers beautiful hiking trails of varying difficulty – from short walking circuits to more demanding hikes in the Dachstein Mountains. The Schladming-Dachstein region has hundreds of kilometers of cycling routes and mountain bike trails. The area is part of the Ennsradweg – a well-marked cycle path along the Enns River. In the vicinity, you will find the Enns River, which is suitable for rafting, canyoning, kayaking, or relaxing on calmer sections.
